Saturday 10th December saw the professional boxers of St. Paul’s take on fighters from around the UK in what proved to be fantastic night for the Academy. Each professional did their fans, family, the academy and themselves proud by producing performances that took the breath away.
St Mary’s Sports Academy was filled to the rafters with fans and friends of the boxers. The atmosphere was electric and the support for all boxers was second to none.
The first bout saw Louie Hubbard beat Curtis Gargano from Middleton.
Jamie Scotter then beat Richard Harrison from Chessington.
Louis Clarridge beat Yaddollah Ghasemi in the third bout of the night.
The main event of the night was the contest between the two local boxers Connor James Seymour and Danny Little. In a very close encounter during which both fighters gave their absolute all Connor came out on top winning the Junior British Challenge Belt and of course local bragging rights.
