Our Young Guns show their continued dedication during the summer season by turning up to train even though the weather is absolutely boiling!
Coach, Paul Mays, said, “The dedication shown by our young stars of the future is tremendous. It all bodes well for the future of the academy to see such dedication week in and week out”
Our Strength and Conditioning session gets off to a great start with once again a cracking turn out.
As part of our continued dedication we are keeping up the pace by organising sparring sessions not only at St Paul’s but other gyms throughout the Region. Tonight saw a great sparring session at the Eastside Boxing Academy. Tonight was even more special as our very own Luke Campbell joined us for a session.
Head coach Mike Bromby paid tribute to Luke and also thanked Mike Dyson for laying on the session.
July begins with our sessions being full of dedicated individuals still wanting to keep fit and build up their stamina.
Please Take Note
The gym has rearranged its sessions slightly to take account of the summer period so take a look at the website to check the times of sessions for the next couple of months.
The boxing season may be closed but St Paul’s Boxing Academy is always open, even when the weather is too hot for most people to handle. The work outside the gym continues as well, because we are dedicated to working with our community.
