What a fantastic skills afternoon at the Eastside Boxing Academy.Boxers of all ages and ability took part in an afternoon of Skills bouts in front of their families and friends. The afternoon gave them an opportunity to show their friends and families just how well they are progressing.Mike said “Such days produce opportunities for individuals to enjoy positive futures and happy healthy lifestyles.”

We had a great weekend and I am so proud of the performances.”
What a night at the Kingston Suite, KC Stadium last night. We were honoured to have our boxing star and sporting role model Luke Campbell as a special guest. Before the bouts began he accepted the position as our academy’s patron.All the bouts of the evening were of the highest international standard.All officials, boxers, coaches, sponsors, staff, supporters, and employees together you made this a sporting success.

What a Weekend for St Paul’s
What a weekend for our St Paul’s Boxing Academy stars. Ted Jackson today secured a brilliant victory for England in his opponent’s backyard Glasgow, Scotland.While in Rotterdam Will Fethon, Ijaz Ahmed and Bailey Miller produced 3 class wins over their Dutch opponents.
Bringing Back the Medals
There were some fantastic performances from our Yorkshire team boxing Hollands best in Rotterdam today. We recorded five wins and three silver medals in total. All the bouts were close and well matched. The silver medallists’ all put up great performances and were just pipped on split decisions. All the boxers were a credit to St Paul’s and acted as great ambassadors of the sport.
Rotterdam or Bust
Our team arrives in Rotterdam ahead of a weekend of scintillating boxing. St Paul’s boxers made up a fair number of the Yorkshire Team chosen to take on the Dutch in their home competition. Mike and our team of coaches were on hand to give the support during the upcoming bouts.
Howden Rotary Club Charity Family Bike Ride
Once again for the second year running the St Paul’s Family turned out in massive numbers to take part in this great annual event. Members and their families of all ages and abilities braved the roads to raise money not just for the Club but for local charities too.Head Coach, Mike Bromby said, “This is great way to spend the day, making new friends and raising money for the community. I’m so proud of our club members who give so much time to their training but also to the community.”Parent, Sally said, “Loved it! Thank you so much to all who organised it. The support and community feel was amazing. Loving getting involved more with the club and everyone.”Mum, Julie said, “Thank you for today Mike, brilliant day also thanks for the lift there and back, I really appreciate it.”Laura said, “Thank you from us also. We all had a great day and made so many new memories”
